Thought I'd make a small update tonight since I haven't posted one since the initial revamp of the site. I'm curious what people think of the new theme.

A few people have asked me what the deal is with the mosquito. The mosquito was the original logo of my first game engine "Infectious" almost a decade ago. I recently decided it to resurrect the image since I really enjoy it.

I haven't done much work on any of my personal projects this week unfortunately. Between Demigod and routine house chores I haven't found much time to actually sit down and code. I do plan on releasing an update to the Lua editor within a week that should include some installer improvements as well as better support for hidden regions/matched braces.

I've been working on another Lua project on the side as well and will soon have something to show in the next week or so. I'm really hoping it will raise the bar and be a valuable product.

There are a few articles I'm also hoping to write/post but I'm not sure when I'll be able to find time for that.

The house projects are coming along nicely, bathroom is still in planning as I cannot find a vanity that I can settle on. I recently fixed up my front yard and laid some black mesh and mulch to make it look nice and prevent as many weeds from growing this year (last year was a nightmare!).

I'm really enjoying Demigod right now but I'm sure it will be short-lived. The game doesn't really have much to offer and while many parts are polished, others were tossed to the sidelines. I suspect the development team had some problems and would love to read a post-mortum on the topic.

As far as social life, a really good friend of mine is planning to visit from London in the upcoming months. I'm very excited about this and will certainly show her a good time. I'm hoping to take her around a bit and really show her the country by visiting some key points like D.C, Philly, New York, and Vegas. It should be a great vacation :)
